Consulting Construction Engineering (CCE) was founded by Frank Cater, PE, and Wade Parker, opening its doors for business on January 5, 2015, to provide specialized electrical consulting, engineering, and design services.

Prior to CCE, Frank founded CRS Engineering, Inc. in 1975, growing it into one of the Southeast’s largest consulting firms offering comprehensive electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering. In 1999, Wade Parker joined Frank at CRS Engineering after spending a decade as a project manager and lead electrical designer at McMullen Engineering in Columbus, Ohio. Together, Frank and Wade recognized an industry need for more personalized electrical engineering services that prioritized true collaboration among owners and architects.

CCE approaches every project with a team-first mindset, believing the core project team must include the owner, designer, and builder, with each member playing a critical role in successful execution. Working closely with clients to analyze their needs through every phase of design and construction, the firm focuses on delivering complete, accurate, and coordinated construction documents on time. Throughout construction, CCE provides ongoing support by ensuring required information is delivered promptly, and contractor questions are addressed to keep projects moving forward efficiently on schedule.
